Introduction

Transportation plays a huge part in everyone’s life. We already have all modes of transportation in order to survive the inevitable struggle of the Philippines’ traffic — jeepneys, tricycles, pedicabs, buses, and our Light Rail Transit — all means are just to help each other to reach the destination.

As our country adapts to the ever-changing trend and high technology, we strive to reach the time that we can have a smooth-sailing transit without costing so much money. Now, we are almost reaching our goal as the newest mode of transportation reaches the Philippines: Electric Vehicles.

Electric Vehicle: What dose it bring to the Filipino people?

We Filipinos are always looking for the best of the best when it comes to purchasing. We are considering a lot of factors to ensure that we are spending our money on the right product: ‘Is the quality of the product justify its cost?’ ‘How long does the product can be used?’ ‘Is this product family-friendly?’

The real question goes here, “How will the electric vehicles be used in service of the Filipino family?”

The electric vehicle becomes a huge hit to our country as it carries the tag of “eco-friendly vehicles”— ensuring that it provides good quality service while not giving a huge threat to our environment.

No Gasoline. No Pollution. Budget-friendly. These are only few things that electric vehicles can provide  as we go through the unpredictable traffic of the Philippines.

Electric Vehicles against Diesel/Gasline Price Hike

In 2019, the Philippines imported various types of crude oil from different countries like UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Russia, but due to the recent invasion of Russia on Ukraine, the supply of diesel/gasline was ridiculously reduced which causes diesel/gasline price hike that affect many of our people’ living especially those who use public utility vehicles (PUVs).

THE COMPANY

NWOW International Trading Corporation was established as one of the professional manufacturers of electric motorcycles and scooters in China. Aiming at providing the best quality and customer-oriented service, NWOW has been one of the best in the electric motorcycle industry; perfecting the sales network by covering and exporting electric vehicles to different countries including the Philippines — and also other countries in Asia and Europe.

Chinese manufacturers have always been huge fans of technology and innovation. However, caring for the environment has always been part of our goals. In this light, we started designing and creating innovative vehicles that will not only benefit our commuters in cost maintenance but also benefit the environment .

The Philippines joined NWOW International Trading Corporation and became one of its biggest dealers with more than 150 branches all over the country to provide every Filipino family safe, high-quality, and eco-friendly vehicle.

In 2010, TAILG Marketing, an authorized dealer of NWOW International Trading Corporation, became the most purchased brand in the Philippines, selling more than a million e-vehicles every year.  In 2015, TAILG Marketing joined hands with NWOW Marketing to continue the goal of helping the country in saving  time, effort, and money by delivering  more eco-friendly products.

Today, TAILG Marketing, NWOW Marketing, and our other authorized dealers of  NWOW International Trading Corporation will continue to expand all over the country to benefit our people and our environment.

NWOW ON THE PHILIPPINES AND ITS IMPACT ON THE FILIPINOS

One of the Philippines’ biggest network and broadcasting company GMA Network featured our product on one of their TV segments: 24 Oras, it shows the advantages of electric vehicles as we face both the pandemic and the raging prices of fuel.  According to a five-year user of electric bicycle, it does not consume a lot of electricity,PHP 5 to 10 added only  in the consumption of electricity per charging.

According to Usec Renato Solidum, Jr. of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), they are advancing  research to check the fuel and battery capacity of the product. They are conducting this research with the help of universities in order to develop and supply new batteries to the country.

Meanwhile, three committees in the House of Representatives approved a bill which creates a national energy policy and a regulatory framework for the use of electric vehicles in the country.

The bill aims to encourage the use of electric vehicles in the public and private sector.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT ON ELECTRIC VEHICLE INDUSTRY

Due to the future adaptation of technology like electric vehicles, Senator Win Gatchalian moves to ratify the report on disagreeing provisions of the Electric Vehicle Industry Act. Gatchalian reported that the two Houses of Congress managed to find a common ground on the two most contentious provisions – the installation of charging stations in dedicated parking slots and the installation of charging stations in dedicated spaces in gas stations. — (source: Senate of The Philippines)
