In honor and celebration of Women’s Month, NWOW proudly co-presented the Quezon City Science High School’s Gender and Development (QCSHS GAD) event, "Bunsen Burner: Empowering Kisay Women in STEM." This initiative brought together students, educators, distinguished guests, and women to honor, acknowledge, and empower the accomplishments of women throughout the years.
To amplify the voice and commemorate women, Quezon City Science High School’s Gender and Development (QCSHS GAD) organized this event to recognize and empower women in their respective fields within STEM. Held on March 11, 2024, at Quezon City Science High School, "Bunsen Burner" served as a platform to highlight and appreciate the contributions of women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and other fields. This notable movement reiterates that women continue to contribute in different aspects and as well as making big waves paving their way towards success.
This event was a collaborative effort between QCSHS GAD and the University of the Philippines Center for Women and Gender Studies, aiming to foster an environment that uplifts the professional growth, educational pursuits, and leadership progress of women. NWOW is proud to support initiatives that empower and promote gender equality and encourage women's participation in different fields.
