NWOW Electrified the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit

The 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, organized by the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), brought together industry key players, government agencies, media and different advocates in a groundbreaking three-day exhibition at the SMX Convention Center Manila from October 24 to October 26, 2024. This year’s summit presented the future of clean and sustainable transportation with over 40 exhibitors showcasing their latest electric vehicles, innovative and exciting offers.


As the spotlight continues to grow on the electrification of transportation, the summit offered a rich schedule of activities, sessions and forums (expert discussions) addressing the advancements and updates in the industry. Speakers explored and discussed key topics such as Electric Vehicle Incentive Strategy (EVIS), Philippines’ progress in sustainable transportation, action plans and strategies to speed up electric vehicle adoption, PUV Modernization Program and updates on policies supporting the shift towards cleaner and greener mobility solutions.


Significantly, the summit welcomed and partnered with government agencies including the Department of Transportation, Department of Energy, Climate Change Commission, Board of Investments, and Department of Trade and Industry, reaffirming their full support for a greener future for the Philippines. Senator Win Gatchalian, Chairperson of Senate Committee on Ways and Means, and a key advocate of the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act, took the the chance and opportunity to express his gratitude and heartfelt congratulations to the industry for its efforts to continue on innovating and electrifying transportation. His insights underscored the commitment to driving EV adoption and supporting industry players invested in developing the transportation landscape.


NWOW Philippines marked its second consecutive appearance at the summit with the highly anticipated unveiling of two new electric vehicle models, the NWOW EMC2 and ERVS4. These latest additions emphasize NWOW’s dedication to innovation and its response to the demands of a fast-changing market. Geared with upgraded features and enhanced specifications, the EMC2 and ERVS4 models are tailored to meet the diverse needs of Filipinos seeking convenient, comfortable and reliable electric mobility alternatives.
